What you most like about your job: Having moved to Memphis just shy of two years ago, I’m still exploring and learning new things about the city. I was drawn to DCA because I admire the agency’s commitment to initiatives that seek to better the Memphis community. Working at DCA introduces me to Memphis in new ways and allows me to contribute to some of the amazing things that are going on throughout the city.
Short-term professional goal: To use the knowledge and skills I have to be an expert for my clients, while still learning and being challenged each day.
Something about you that would surprise people: I worked as a grassroots organizer and street canvasser after graduating from college, raising money and advocating for clean energy policies in California and Massachusetts.

Most important characteristics of a leader: The ability to empower others by creating opportunities for people to take risks, grow and find their own successes. A good leader is committed, consistent, self-aware and supportive.
Your impressions of Memphis: Memphis is rich with a history and culture that play a constant, influential role in how the community evolves. Memphis is a city that is alive and growing, with consideration and respect of its past.
Favorite pastime or hobby: Practicing yoga and growing as many vegetables as I can in my tiny backyard
