Greenstein, a public relations and social media manager for Doug Carpenter + Associates, began her Caramelized food and lifestyle blog in 2012 while a student at the University of Texas in Austin. She continued the blog when she moved back to Memphis in the summer of 2014, and both the Austin Chronicle and the Commercial Appeal have recognized it on “best of” lists.
Every other month, the supper club subscription service will offer seasonally inspired and curated decor for four people, recipe cards, wine pairings and blog and email tutorials for entertaining.
“The Caramelized Supper Club empowers subscribers to elevate an everyday gathering into a memorable meal, coupled with convenience and clarity,” Greenstein said. “Every step is guided from your grocery store trip to your table setting.”
In January, Greenstein plans to deliver the first box to about 100 subscribers from 18 states. She said that almost half of the initial subscribers will be receiving the supper club as a holiday gift.
Greenstein raised $45,701 for the supper club on the crowdfunding website in 45 days. In addition to her blog, she also has more than 5,000 followers on Instagram.
